Terms of use and sale
Two things in one document: the terms on which you use this website, and the terms on which we sell training. The part most people need is section 4.
Last updated: 10 August 2026

2. Using this website
The content here is provided for information. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that every statement is free of error, and nothing on this site is clinical, diagnostic, legal or investment advice.
The text, images we own, the software behind the site and the Vea name and mark belong to us or to our licensors. You may read, print and quote from these pages with attribution. You may not copy the site wholesale, present it as your own, or use our name or marks in a way that suggests a partnership or endorsement that does not exist. Third-party images are credited in section 12 and remain under their own licences.
3. The platform itself
Vea is not sold through this website. Access to the platform is arranged separately under its own written agreement, which covers licensing, support and the conditions of use. Anything on this site about the platform is descriptive and does not by itself create a licence.
Vea is supplied for research and educational use. It is not a certified medical device — see the research and educational use statement, which forms part of these terms.
4. Buying training
4.1 What you are buying
Each training program is described on the training page: its format, duration, participant capacity and what is included. Booking reserves a place on that program. It does not reserve a specific calendar date — dates are agreed with you afterwards, as described below.
4.2 Prices, VAT and currency
Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where VAT applies. The amount displayed on the training page is the amount charged; the VAT contained within it is broken out on the payment page and on your order confirmation.
The payment page may offer to settle the charge in your own currency instead of euro. If you accept, the conversion rate and any conversion fee are shown there before you confirm, and your order confirmation states the currency actually used. Choosing euro avoids the conversion entirely.
For the on-site programs, the price covers the session and the instructor's time. Travel and accommodation outside the Warsaw area are agreed with you before a date is fixed and invoiced at cost, never as a markup.
4.3 Payment and documentation
Payment is taken on a secure page hosted by our payment service provider, which acts as merchant of record for the sale and issues the corresponding tax documentation. We never see or store your card details. The confirmation page on this site is your own record of the order; it is not itself an invoice.
If your institution needs an invoice against a purchase order, or must pay by bank transfer, write to us instead of using the checkout and we will arrange it that way.
4.4 Scheduling
We contact you within two working days of the order to agree dates. Online programs typically run within three to four weeks; on-site programs typically four to eight weeks out, depending on travel. If we cannot offer you a workable date within three months of the order, you may cancel and be refunded in full.
4.5 Changing or cancelling a booking
- More than 14 days before an agreed date: rescheduling is free, and cancellation is refunded in full.
- Between 14 and 7 days before: we will always try to move a session. Where travel or accommodation has already been booked and cannot be recovered, that cost is charged; the program fee itself is not.
- Less than 7 days before, or non-attendance: 50% of the program fee, plus any unrecoverable travel cost. We would rather move the session than charge this, so tell us as early as you can.
- If we cancel or move a session, for any reason including instructor illness, you choose between a new date and a full refund. We do not cap our liability below the price you paid.
4.6 If you are a consumer
Where you buy as a consumer — and, to the extent Polish law extends the same protection, as a sole trader buying outside your professional specialisation — you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason, by writing to support@virtual-simulations.pro. We refund within 14 days of being told, by the same means you paid.
If you ask us to deliver the training inside that 14-day window and we do, you keep the right to withdraw but we may charge for what has actually been delivered by the time you exercise it, in proportion to the whole. Once a program has been delivered in full at your express request, the right to withdraw from it is spent.
4.7 Participants, materials and recordings
Places are for the named participants agreed with you and may be transferred to a colleague at no cost before the session. Teaching materials, prepared datasets and session recordings are provided for use inside your institution; please do not publish them, sell them or use them to deliver commercial training of your own.
Any anonymized dataset you bring stays yours. We use it during the session and for nothing else, and we delete our copies afterwards unless you ask in writing that we keep them.
5. What training is and is not
Training teaches the use of visualization software on cardiovascular imaging data. It is professional education, not clinical instruction: it does not certify competence, does not confer any clinical qualification, and nothing taught in a session displaces your own professional judgement or your institution's protocols. Attendance certificates record attendance, nothing more.
6. Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intentional fault, or for anything else that Polish law does not permit to be limited — including the rights of consumers.
Subject to that, and in contracts with businesses, our total liability arising out of a training contract is limited to the amount paid under it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data. We are not liable for clinical decisions, and no visualization, measurement or simulation produced with our software or during our training is a basis for one.
7. Complaints
Write to support@virtual-simulations.pro with what happened and what you would like done about it. We acknowledge within 3 working days and answer within 14 days. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform, and may bring a claim before the courts of their own place of residence.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Polish law. For contracts with businesses, the courts having jurisdiction over our registered office are competent. For consumers, this choice does not remove the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence, and the ordinary rules of jurisdiction apply.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for future orders. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published when you placed it, and we keep previous versions — ask and we will send you the one you agreed to.
10. Severability
If a provision here turns out to be invalid, the rest stands, and the invalid provision is read as the closest valid provision that achieves the same purpose.
11. Language
These terms are published in English. A Polish translation is available on request; where a consumer is habitually resident in Poland and a discrepancy arises, the Polish version prevails for that consumer.
